Had a blast photographing this awesome family at Onondaga Lake Park! Four kiddos full of energy kept me on my toes, and we got some amazing shots – both candid and more ‘posed’! Take a look!
I’ve been friends with Candice for almost seven years now, and I am so honored to be photographing her wedding to the lovely Dana this summer on June 1. They asked me to do engagement photos with them before the wedding, so I was tremendously excited to come down to NYC this weekend for the first time since I moved to Syracuse last April. I haven’t been back in the city since last May, so I am very, very excited to be back this weekend, and not only that, but I also get to photograph some really amazing, special friends this weekend!
We started our session at a really awesome old fashioned ice cream and soda fountain called Brooklyn Farmacy, where they had a delicious root beer float and I had maybe one of the best grilled cheeses in my LIFE – sure have missed the city’s food scene! After we had a bite, we shot some awesome photos inside the restaurant, then wandered down to Love Lane and some quaint alleyways, and then down to the Brooklyn Promenade and a park between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, where we got some photos while they played Frisbee. We also took a ride on the old refinished Carousel, and got some great photos there, too. We ended at one of my favorite places in DUMBO, Jacque Torres (a famous French chocolatier).
Check out some of my favorite shots from our session in Downtown Brooklyn this afternoon!
We had a blast photographing our first guy senior at his gorgeous land outside Skaneateles this afternoon! Watch out ladies! Who doesn’t love a boy and his dog? Thanks, Adam, for a great session!
Well, we had a little bit of a rough start, but you’d never know it from the amazing photos we grabbed of madison and codi! these two are just a ball of fun – we had a hard time keeping up with them! we were super excited for this session because we knew we’d be doing some fairy shots, and we couldn’t be happier with the photos! we sure had a great time with these kiddos, and their mom and grandparents.
Tak a look at some of our favorites!
We had so much fun photographing these two wonderful guys at Highland Forest near Fabius, NY! I’ve known the taller of the Adams for several years now – I met him while he was a student at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. His awesome boyfriend, also Adam, is an equestrian instructor at a local college, and both of these guys are just a ton of fun. They have really become pretty good friends with us, and we were so excited to be able to capture their sweet relationship in photographs.

I think we pretty much did it all during our session with the gorgeous Brittney from Liverpool High School! We started out at Green Lakes State Park, shot some gorgeous photos in a sunlit field of goldenrods, and then headed downtown where we jammed out to music blaring from our car speakers under a really awesome overpass in Downtown Syracuse. Let us tell you – this girl has some moves! We had such a blast with Brittney and her mom, and I think we got some pretty fantastic images!
